Welcome to Growbie's International Student Career Fair!! This is the FIRST EVER career fair for international students, and it carries significant importance, inclusion, and hope.

There are one million international students who travel thousands of miles to study in the US for college and beyond, but 80% of them leave the country upon graduation. Landing a job in the US is extremely difficult for international students because of cultural differences, lack of network, and regulatory challenges.

While elements like the H1B cap may be beyond our influence, we channel our focus towards aspects within our control. Here at Growbie, we started to focus on addressing cultural differences and lack of network by teaching international students how to stand up for themselves and how to build a network in a foreign land. We are proud to share that we have unleashed over 100 international students into a better networker, and ultimately landed their dream jobs.

Now, we are taking another step closer towards career success: bringing together companies who value diversity and inclusion and are willing to give hard working students a chance to build their life here in America. Simply put, we are inviting companies who are willing to sponsor CPT, OPT, H1B to our career fair to close the talent gap. For international students, no more wandering around the career fair and talking to 20% of the companies and felt unwelcomed and undesired.

We know how it feels because we were there. Growbie is built by international students, for international students that are coming after us, to make things easier and better.

What can you expect?

International Students that are:

• Driven: We work three times harder becuase we know the oppotunities don't come easy to us. If we want an easy life and have no curiosity and ambition, we won't leave our home country to study abroad. We are hungry for opportunities and eager to contribute.
• Diverse: Our career fair will bring together exceptional international students from various academic disciplines and cultural backgrounds. Employers will have the chance to connect with top-tier candidates who offer unique perspectives and global insights.
• CPT/OPT Ready: All participating students should be fully authorized to work under CPT (in semester and summer internships) or OPT (post graduation) which is minimal cost to employers. STEM students have up to 3 years of OPT.

Who will be at the fair?

This fair is open to all international students, free of charge, in the Greater Boston Area. We welcome students from undergraduate to graduate programs, all majors and disciplines.

Employer Registration Fees: $300 per company

Please note: the career fair is free to students, we are chargin employers to finance our operations.

Each registration includes the following:

• Set-Up for Organizations will begin at 12:30 PM
• Registration for 2 representatives
• 1 table (Long 4’11 x Width 24'5) and 2 chairs (bring tablecloth from your organization for your table)
• Resume book sent to organization following Career Fair (students will opt-in to have resumes sent)
